The Immortal Gazette: Tinkerbell – The Sneaky, Sassy Mean Girl of Neverland

It was a night unlike any other in the immortal realm of 4EverMore. The fire in the hearth crackled, sending soft warmth into the air as Alice, ever the curious one, leaned back in her chair, looking quite pleased. Loki, with a mischievous grin of his own, idly swirled his drink, clearly intrigued by whatever story was about to unfold. Rumplestiltskin, his fingers drumming on his knee, spoke up with a sly smile.

“Ah, I see you’re ready for another tale, are you? Perhaps a classic one—about a tiny fairy with a big attitude. She’s small, she’s feisty, and she’s got more sass than you can shake a wand at.”

Alice raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Is that so? And who might this fiery creature be?”

Rumplestiltskin chuckled. “Ah, let me tell you about Tinkerbell, the sneaky, sassy, and—dare I say it—mean girl of Neverland. Yes, that’s right. The one and only Tinkerbell.”

Loki smirked, obviously amused. “Oh, this is gonna be good. A tiny fairy with an attitude problem. Let me guess, she’s got a magic wand, a sharp tongue, and a penchant for chaos.”

“Precisely,” Rumplestiltskin said, settling into his storytelling posture. “You see, Tinkerbell may be small in size, but she’s a firecracker in every sense of the word. A fairy who’s more concerned with herself than anything or anyone else, and she’s not afraid to show it. She’s got a major attitude problem, and it’s all wrapped up in her devotion to Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up.”

Alice smirked. “Ah, Peter Pan. Always dragging his crew of eternal children around, right? Sounds like he’s got quite the collection of dramatic personalities.”

“Indeed,” Rumplestiltskin said, his voice turning more thoughtful. “But it’s Tinkerbell who really steals the show. She may be loyal to Peter—obsessively loyal—but don’t let that fool you. She’s got a mean streak a mile long. Her jealousy knows no bounds, especially when it comes to Wendy Darling, the girl who dares to come into Peter’s world and steal his attention away from her.”

Loki raised an eyebrow, clearly fascinated by the drama. “So, we’re talking about a jealous, vengeful fairy? I like where this is going.”

“Oh, it gets better,” Rumplestiltskin said, his voice rich with mischief. “Tinkerbell is more than just a jealous, tiny ball of fury. She’s got a sharp tongue and a knack for creating chaos. Remember that time she nearly killed Wendy? Oh, yes. She tried to murder her, just because she was so bent out of shape over Peter paying attention to her instead of Tink. Talk about drama.”

Alice chuckled, clearly entertained. “So she tried to off the girl because of a little love triangle? Sounds like she needs a reality check. How did that turn out for her?”

“Well,” Rumplestiltskin continued, leaning in slightly as if savoring the tension, “as expected, it backfired. Tinkerbell’s tantrums and jealousy don’t exactly win her any friends. But despite her temper, she’s still loyal to Peter. Her devotion to him runs deep, so much so that when Peter’s life is in danger, she ends up saving him—after realizing she might actually lose him to another girl.”

Loki’s eyes narrowed, clearly intrigued by the complexity of it all. “So, she’s loyal, but only when it suits her? She sounds like a walking contradiction.”

“You could say that,” Rumplestiltskin said with a smirk. “Tinkerbell is a mess of contradictions. On one hand, she’s petty, spiteful, and selfish. On the other, she’s fiercely protective of Peter. She’s the type of character who will turn on you in a heartbeat, but if you’re in her inner circle, she’ll fight to the death for you. Well, metaphorically speaking, of course.”

Alice crossed her arms, clearly having fun with this. “So, basically, she’s a fairy with major commitment issues, massive jealousy, and a love/hate relationship with everyone around her. Lovely. That sounds... healthy.”

“Exactly,” Rumplestiltskin said with a sly grin. “Tinkerbell’s not your typical fairy. She’s a diva, and her magical powers only add to the drama. She can create sparks with a single flick of her wand, but when it comes to people, well, she’s got a knack for causing fireworks in the worst possible way.”

Loki leaned back, crossing his arms and letting out a soft laugh. “I’ve gotta admit, she sounds like someone I’d get along with—if I didn’t mind dealing with constant chaos and someone who’s always trying to one-up me.”

“I can see that,” Alice chimed in with a smirk. “Tinkerbell’s the type who would always try to steal your spotlight just to make herself feel better. And the moment someone else gets attention? You’d better believe she’d throw a tantrum.”

Rumplestiltskin’s eyes sparkled with mischief as he continued. “And that’s where it gets truly interesting. Tinkerbell’s not just about mischief. She’s a reminder of how pride, jealousy, and vanity can poison even the purest of hearts. She represents the darker side of loyalty—the kind that demands attention and affection in unhealthy ways.”

Loki chuckled, clearly enjoying the direction the tale was taking. “So what, are we calling her a spoiled brat with a wingspan?”

“You could say that,” Rumplestiltskin said with a grin. “But underneath all the sass, the mean girl antics, and the jealousy, there’s something human about her. She’s driven by insecurity, by fear of being left behind. It’s what makes her both despicable and tragic at the same time.”

Alice leaned forward, an unexpected depth in her voice. “So, in a way, Tinkerbell’s not just a fairy. She’s a symbol of how our own egos can destroy us. We’ve all got that part of ourselves that wants to be seen, to be loved, and sometimes that can turn us into something… less than pleasant.”

Rumplestiltskin smiled, clearly pleased by Alice’s insight. “Exactly. And while Tinkerbell may be tiny, she packs one hell of a punch when it comes to stirring up chaos. Her story is one of love, jealousy, and the destructive nature of pride. In the end, Tinkerbell is a reminder that even the smallest creatures can leave a lasting impact—whether they mean to or not.”

Alice grinned, casting a glance at Loki. “Well, Rumple, it seems that even in a world full of magic and immortality, Tinkerbell’s brand of drama is still a classic.”

Loki’s grin widened. “I think I could learn a thing or two from her.”

“Just don’t go too far with that attitude,” Alice warned, raising an eyebrow at him. “We’ve already got enough drama around here as it is.”

Rumplestiltskin chuckled darkly. “Well, my friends, that’s Tinkerbell for you—a reminder that sometimes, the smallest ones can cause the biggest stir.”

And with that, the tale of the sneaky, mean, and ultimately tragic Tinkerbell left the air crackling with intrigue, as the fire crackled, dancing in the hearth, casting an eerie glow.
