Of Myth and Lore
(Let me tell you a story, of a beast so feared, in a labyrinth where many disappeared)
In the labyrinth deep, where shadows creep,
The Minotaur dwelled, where secrets sleep.
A creature of legend, with a bull’s fierce might,
In a maze of stone, hidden from sight.
With each sacrifice and each fateful day,
The Minotaur’s legend finds its way.
In the maze of shadows and fate so grim,
The Minotaur’s tale is both dark and dim.
Through the labyrinth’s twists and turns so tight,
Its legend endures in the depth of night.
The Minotaur, a beast of dread,
In the labyrinth where many fled.
With a roar and a fury, its tale is spun,
A legend of fear when the day is done.
Through every twist and every turn,
Its legend is one that will ever burn.
Theseus, the hero, with courage so grand,
Ventured into the maze to take a stand.
With the help of a thread and a heart so brave,
He faced the Minotaur in the labyrinth’s cave.
Through every battle and every strife,
The legend of the Minotaur lives a life.
In the shadows of the labyrinth’s depth,
The Minotaur’s tale is tightly kept.
Through the hero’s quest and battles fought,
Its legend remains in battles caught.
The Minotaur, a beast of dread,
In the labyrinth where many fled.
With a roar and a fury, its tale is spun,
A legend of fear when the day is done.
Through every twist and every turn,
Its legend is one that will ever burn.
(And though the labyrinth may fall to time, the Minotaur’s legend remains sublime)
