The Bloodline Curse of 4EverMore
It is said that in the ageless mists of the world of 4EverMore, where centuries drift like forgotten dreams, a terrible curse once bound the night to the day.
Long ago, when the world was young and the stars burned brighter, two mighty houses rose from the twilight — the Vampires, children of the endless dark, and the Daywalkers, mortals anointed by the sun's blessing.
Their enmity was fierce, and the ground itself drank deep of their blood.
But pride bred folly, and in their endless war, they drew the ire of a sorcerer older than memory. From his bitter heart was born the Bloodline Curse — a wicked binding that twined their fates together, so that neither could triumph without the other withering in kind.
Thus it came to pass:
- When the thirst of the vampire grew, the strength of the daywalker faltered.
- When the daywalker basked in the light, the power of the vampire withered.
Bound by pain. Tethered by hate. Chained by a destiny none could escape.
For endless years, they warred — by moonlight and sunfire — each seeking to shatter the chains unseen.
Until, in a time almost forgotten, the leaders of both houses — Vladisar of the Night and Aeliana of the Dawn — stood together, their ancient hatred smoldering into desperate unity.
It is whispered that with a sacrifice both great and grievous, they broke the Bloodline Curse, freeing their kin from its cruel hand.
Yet the winds of 4EverMore still sigh their names, and the mist remembers — for in every shadowed corner, where blood runs hot and hatred simmers, the echoes of the Bloodline Curse still stir.
